The only thing more classic than the Koss Porta Pro is rock ‘n’ roll. Released in 1984, it epitomizes retro design and appears to be straight out of Back to the Future. The charming bare-bones build features a layered strip of metal connecting hinged ear cups. Now I begin by plugging in the HP910s and thereafter the Porta Pro. Here, the similiarities with the Koss ends. The Porta Pro still does horrible things with the music. The HP910s on the contrary adds a dreamy musical character with a deep but quite controlled bass. In comparison, the HD580s sound less alive and more analytical.

I've also V-MODA Crossfade M-100 - Fostex T50RP Mk3 - Koss Porta Pro Classic - Philips Fidelio X2 . My favourite genre is Rock - Metal - Grunge so which are the best headphones I could get in the 350 euros range?
