As others have stated, whether or not I use it really depends on the situation. I shoot combat sports (low light/high shutter) and for those events bring both an RF 28-70 F2L and RF 70-200 2.8L. The 24-105 f4 can't keep up in the low light. I use an RF 100-500 for longer range outdoor wildlife photography. The 24-105 would also not make sense .
