Just recently bought a new computer and updated it to windows 10. After downloading Lotr Bfme 2 I found that it would not open upon startup. If I used the shortcut nothing would open, if I started it straight from the CD it would open up a list of options to choose from (play, uninstall, etc). Im trying to get "the lord of the rings: the batlle for middle earth 2: the rise of witch king" to work on my windows 7 64 bit computer. i've installed it but when i try to run it, it crashes. i also tried the "run in compatible mode" option but that didnt work either.

Even if a game is not stretched it can still have some stuff chopped off to get there wich isn´t a true WS support. Check out HL2 for true support. Give us some more in-depth info. Second i went to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files and created a folder named Maps and in C:\Users\User\\Roaming\My Battle for Middle-earth Files also i created a text and i added the following code. AllHealthBars = yes. AmbientVolume = 81.000000. AnimationLOD = High.

All features of patch switcher is working except 1.09. I can change the version to 1.00 or 1.06 but when I try 1.09 nothing happens. I even tried to install 1.08 with the old patch switcher and installed 1.09 again but it is not working. I think windows 10 is causing the problem but compatibility options didn't solve the problem at all.

Hello, jk8200: I understand, I read some articles regarding this and the option you requested (downgrade the driver) as a possible workaround to get this to work.
To do so, follow these steps: Press Windows + X, click on Device Manager. Expand Display adapter, right click on device and select Uninstall. Now, restart the computer and the display drivers will be installed automatically. If the issue persist, try uninstalling the game and re-install it. Hope this helps.
