Alarge proportion of the cars in assetto corsa don't have 900 degrees steering lock in real life. Not quite so absurd as you may think. This is the problem you have heard others talking about. Thereis, or was, a bug with Steering Gamma - adjusting gamma caused the steering to veer right. Its not happening to me anymore - I deleted my profile save and started again but left SG at 100. Since then I discovered you can reset advanced steering settings by simply switching wheel and controller.
